Jewelry That Refuses to Behave

I create jewelry as a release of colour, creativity and a little bit of wildness. Every piece is handmade and one of a kind, often combining gemstones, found objects, reclaimed materials and unexpected little treasures.

My jewelry is bold, raw, whimsical and unapologetically different. I’m not interested in perfectly matched, mass-produced or trend-driven pieces. I like the weird stuff. The interesting stuff. The things that make you stop and lean in.

I’m inspired by nature, magic, vintage finds and the beautiful imperfections of handmade art. I’m always experimenting with new materials and techniques, so you’ll never find me stuck in just one style.

This is for the the free spirits who are looking for jewelry that is imperfect, wild, loud and free, like a vine climbing up a wall.

Distinctive. Imaginative. Boundless.

Meet Gillian — Artist, Maker & Professional Rule-Breaker

I’ve been an artist my entire life, and creativity has always been woven into the way I see the world. I am seen by the people I love the most as outspoken, genuine, loud and a little clumsy. I’m happiest when I’m winging it, getting my hands dirty and making something along the way.

You’ll often find me barefoot in the garden with my four dogs—my absolute best friends—my hair wild, my hands covered in dirt and probably talking to the bees and trees. I love gardening, colour, chaos and patchwork blankets. I have a hard time leaving anything alone without adding a little personality to it.

Growing up, I painted artwork as gifts for people. I loved knowing that something I had created with my own hands would find a place in someone’s home and become part of their everyday life.

Jewelry has given me a way to take that feeling a little further. Instead of my art hanging quietly on someone’s wall, it can travel with them into the world.

Every piece I make is one of a kind—just like the person who wears it. And if something I’ve created becomes part of your everyday life, that means the world to me.

I don’t think art is supposed to follow rules—and neither do I.
